Asking questions

Ask in everyday Turkish: "Bu ay satış hedefinin neresindeyiz?" (Where are we against this month's sales target?), "Vadesi geçmiş alacaklar kimlerde?" (Who holds the overdue receivables?). Mind picks the right analysis, writes a short answer in the conversation and draws its cards on the board.

Asking a question​

  1. Type your question in the question box. Jump to it with /.
  2. Enter or Gönder (Send). While the answer is being prepared, the button reads Yanıt hazırlanıyor (Preparing the answer).
  3. On the board, the title of the card being drawn appears at once (· panoya çiziliyor…, drawing on the board…); the card fills in when the figures arrive.
  4. A short answer appears in the conversation, followed by follow-up questions under Sonra ne sorulur? (What to ask next?). Clicking one asks it. Questions already asked in this conversation are not suggested again.

The conversation is named after the first question.

Naming a period​

For analyses that take a period, say it in your question: bu ay (this month), geçen ay (last month), bu çeyrek (this quarter), bu yıl (this year), son 12 ay (last 12 months). Without one, the analysis uses its default; see Analyses. Periods are counted up to today, in Turkish time.

What Mind answers​

Mind reads your data through ready-made analyses; the list is on the Analyses page. Every figure on a card comes from the analysis result: the model that writes the answer in the conversation does not produce figures, and it does not draw the chart or the cards either. If your question fits no analysis, Mind says so.

If something goes wrong​
